RP2040

The Raspberry Pi RP2040 is the first microcontroller developed by Raspberry Pi ("Raspberry Silicon") itself and is normally found on the Raspberry Pi Pico board, but now the microcontroller is also available separately.

- 264KB on-chip RAM
- Support for up to 16MB off-chip flash memory via QSPI bus
- DMA controller
- Interpolator and integer divider peripherals
- 30 GPIO pins, 4 of which can be used as analog inputs
- 2x UARTs
- 2x SPI controllers
- 2x I2C controllers
- 16x PWM channels
- 1x USB 1.1 controller and PHY, with host and device support
- 8x Raspberry Pi Programmable I/O (PIO)
- USB mass storage boot mode with UF2 support, for drag-and-drop programming
- QFN package (MLF package)


Until now, the RP2040 was only available on the Raspberry Pi Pico and as a component for a limited number of partners. Now the RP2040 circuit is also available as a single component for the broad market. This allows a cost-effective use in own developments and devices.
