Raspberry Pi RTC Battery – Backup Power for the Real-Time Clock
The Raspberry Pi RTC Battery is a rechargeable Panasonic ML-2020 lithium manganese coin cell (~45mAh) with a two-pin JST connector for the “BAT” header on Raspberry Pi 5. It powers the on-board real-time clock (RTC) when the Pi is disconnected from external supply.
