Product overview
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4S combines the architecture of Raspberry Pi 4 with the proven DDR2 SODIMM form factor of earlier Compute Module generations. This makes the module particularly suitable for professional integration, existing carrier board designs, and industrial applications where compact construction and straightforward migration from CM3 or CM3+ are important. CM4S brings strong processing performance together with flexible storage options in a familiar module format.

Notes
This listing is a parent product for the CM4S product family. The exact specification depends on the selected variant. Despite the SODIMM form factor, a compatible carrier board is required for operation; the module is not intended for use in a standard DDR2 SODIMM socket. Depending on the target design, suitable cooling, power supply design, and matching peripherals may also be required.
Applications
Compute Module 4S is suitable for industrial control systems, embedded systems, automation solutions, edge and IoT devices, digital signage, and migration projects that move existing products to a more modern Raspberry Pi platform. By combining a familiar form factor with the Raspberry Pi 4 architecture, CM4S is particularly well suited to long-term development and integration projects.
