- USB DEVICE SERVER - Virtually any type of USB device can be used on and via the network, just as if it were connected directly via a USB cable. Existing software and drivers can continue to be used.
- SX VIRTUAL LINK - Silex Technology has developed the SX Virtual Link 4.0.0 or higher application software for Windows computers. It adds a virtual USB port to the computer, through which the computer exchanges data with the USB device. The operating system behaves as if there were a direct USB cable connection, even though communication is actually bidirectional via a network connection.
- HIGH DATA THROUGHPUT - The DS-700 complies with the USB 3.0 “SuperSpeed USB” specification. This makes the USB device server significantly superior to previous models with Hi-Speed. Even if the USB device produces large amounts of data, such as a document scanner, an RDX or HD drive, the data is transferred quickly and reliably in conjunction with this USB 3.0 product.
- IMPROVED SECURITY - Various access restrictions are useful measures to ensure data security. IP/MAC address filters, password protection for USB ports, and a USB device type filter (vendor/product ID) are available.
- EASY INSTALLATION - Free software download from our website. To use the software, simply follow the instructions on the screen.
- ECO mode: To save power, the DS-700 can automatically turn off the USB port power supply after a configurable period of inactivity. ECO mode is automatically terminated when the device is requested or used again.
