Product overview
The Waveshare PCIe To M.2 Multifunctional Adapter combines two functions on a single board: it connects an NVMe SSD via the PCIe interface of the Raspberry Pi 5 and converts the Pi's two micro HDMI outputs to full-size HDMI sockets. Standard HDMI cables can therefore be used without adapters, and two displays can be driven at up to 4K. The board connects to the Raspberry Pi 5 using the 16-pin PCIe ribbon cable.

Notes
Only SSDs using the NVMe protocol are supported. The Raspberry Pi 5, the SSD and the displays are not included. When running two displays together with an SSD, make sure the power supply is adequately rated.
Applications
Building compact desktop or kiosk systems with two displays, digital signage, control and visualisation workstations, and installations where separate micro HDMI adapters and a separate SSD expansion are best avoided.
